The King of Entertainment
When it comes to glitzy resorts, jaw-dropping shows and immersive experiences, nobody does it quite like Las Vegas. A stroll down the Strip opens up a world of sights and sounds, offering more things to do and see than you could accomplish in a month. The tricked-out resorts provide roadside shows with lights, fountains and special effects, while casinos and celebrity restaurants abound. Dive right in and absorb the unmatched experience you can only find in Las Vegas.
A World of Its Own
The attractions of Las Vegas run the gamut, appealing to all kinds of tastes. The Mob Museum offers a glimpse into the history and impact of American organized crime, and the Luxor Hotel hosts an exhibit with over 350 artifacts from the Titanic. Immerse yourself in the colorful Fremont Street Experience, a pedestrian mall encompassed by an incredible light show. You can even find rides at several of the resorts—observe the entire city below you from the breathtaking height of the Strat Tower or at the top of the High Roller.
Beyond the City Lights
If you need a breath of fresh air, you can venture away from the hubbub of the Strip to discover the natural beauty of the area. A hike through Red Rock Canyon or Calico Basin will reveal stunning red and pink geological features glinting in the desert sun. You can also visit the engineering marvel that is the Hoover Dam, whether you choose to walk on the dam itself or nab an unforgettable view from the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.
Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix
From November 21 through 23, 2024, teams of Formula 1 racers will gather to battle it out for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Formula 1 is the world’s most prestigious motor racing competition, a team sport that has spread to the U.S. from across the world. Over the course of three days, teams will go through three qualifying rounds, followed by the big race on Saturday. The top 10 drivers will get points toward championship rankings, but only three will make it to the podium. The Last Vegas circuit will take drivers on a 6.2km 17-turn ride directly on the Strip, taking them past icons like Caesar’s Palace, the Bellagio and the Venetian.
